Cassie is one of the "Flock of Ancestors" series -- all named for people in my family tree. She was born in Arkansas in 1914. My aunt Cassie was the lovely woman who dressed up as Mrs. Claus every Christmas, brought oranges from California when she visited and always had hugs. I adored her. This little reminder of her is a 8x5 watercolor.
